Allbirds vs Giesswein: Similarities

These two wool runner options are very similar in the sense that they both come in whole sizes, and they come in a wide variety of colors option – which we like. There’s nothing worse than wanting a certain pair of shoes, but not being able to get them because you don’t like their color options. They are also similar because they both feature very sleek and simple designs. Both wool runner options are very soft and comfortable, but they don’t offer you the best ankle support, which is a big minus for most people. Lastly, they are both similar when it comes to moisture-wicking and temperature regulating. Both shoes keep your feet at the perfect temperature so you can wear them year-round.

Allbirds vs Giesswein: Differences

The first major difference between these two wool runners’ options is the price. The AllBirds wool runners are $95, whereas the Giesswein wool runners are $130. One major difference to note is that the Geisswein wool runners do have a large logo on the side of the shoes, whereas the AllBirds don’t – the AllBirds are much more subtle, and we actually prefer not having a super large logo on the side of our shoe but that’s all personal preference. The last major difference we want to make you aware of between these two options is that the Geisswein wool runners are much more flexible than the AllBirds but more flexible isn’t always better when it comes to running shoes!

Now that you know how we think these two wool runner options are similar and different, it’s time to choose our winner for our Giesswein vs Allbirds battle. Today’s win is extremely close, but it goes to the AllBirds wool runners! Looking at both shoes overall, the AllBirds have a more sophisticated and simplistic look, which we prefer and they are extremely comfortable. While both wool runners are very flexible, the AllBirds offer you a little more stability. That being said, the choice does somewhat come down to personal preference, and you can’t go wrong with Giesswein either!
